History
Convey was founded in 1986 by John Graves as a software company dedicated to providing tools to support tax information reporting. In the late 1990s, Convey software clients began turning to the company and asking for a more comprehensive solution for their tax information reporting needs. Organizations were tired of dealing with the ever-changing complexities of keeping up with state and federal regulatory requirements, data storage, security and management reporting. In 2000, in response to market demand, the company sought out to simplify the complex burden of tax reporting and began offering Taxport Managed Services. Immediately, some of the biggest companies in North America began using Taxport’s web-enabled managed services for their needs.
