Former Gelco COO, Brian Provost, Joins Convey Compliance

Convey Compliance Systems, the premier supplier of web based information reporting and management services, announced today that its founder, John Graves has named Brian Provost to serve as the company's chief executive officer and president.

Provost, 38, who most recently was chief operating officer of Gelco Expense Management, will be responsible for guiding Convey as it rapidly scales to meet the growing demand for its web based regulatory filing and reporting products and services.

Graves said that the leadership team unanimously selected Provost based on his track record leading and growing internet based software services companies, and his strong executive and personal qualities.

"Brian came to our attention because of his strong execution skills--his proven ability in developing and leading top performing teams and his track record in driving value to customers while growing both top and bottom line,” Graves said. “He demonstrated these skills by turning around Gelco, which is similar in business model. As we got to know Brian, we were impressed by his emphasis on developing internal talent while reaching outside for new skills, his understanding of the role of culture in a company's success and his personal integrity.”

Provost also expressed excitement about his new role. Provost has over 15 years of experience in the technology sector. During his time as Chief Operating Officer of Gelco, a privately held global web based on-demand services provider of expense management, the company’s recurring revenue more than quadrupled while the company grew its services and customer implementations outside North America into over 50 countries. Gelco was purchased on October, 2007 for $160 million to Concur Technologies. Prior to his current responsibilities, Provost has spent his career in a range of general management and sales and marketing positions including executive leadership position at Wizmo, inc., Norstan Communications (now owned by Black Box) and ColorSpan Corporation (now owned by Hewlett-Packard).
